4. Checking your SSL certificate
If your having issues with an expired SSL certificate or just want to know when yours expires then there is a great SSL checking tool at https://www.sslshopper.com/
If you enter your domain name, it will show your issuance, expiry date and how many days are remaining
If your provider is called Let's Encrypt and lasts 90 days, it is likely to have been provided for free by that organisation, these are usually requested by the web server
There has been a known issue with renewing these free 90 day certificates, should you discover an expired SSL certificate please create a ticket and we will investigate and hopefully issue a SSL certificate with another provider
It is possible to purchase a one year SSL certificate, the cheapest price is around £10 to £15, if you google annual SSL certificates there are other more expensive options, but hopefully you'll find some information regarding the cheaper options. Please check the "renewal" fees, we've seen some cheap options but the renewal is in the region of £100s
